The tipi canvas at Gaia's Oasis was in pretty bad shape when we last visited in June, but at the time Chris & Gaiella didn't realize just how little time it actually had left. Less than a month after our yearly SOLARIS gathering it was destroyed in a wind storm, so now they are looking at having to replace it. The total cost is in the ballpark of $1600. They have set up a tipi update page which has details about the tipi and their fundraiser to restore the tipi by October. The total donations received so far is: $295. If everyone that has ever had a spiritual experience in this Tipi puts in even a small donation, I am certain that we as a community & tribe can help raise the needed funds to assure that others will also have a chance to share in the wonder and power of a transformational night in the Tipi at Gaia's Oasis.
